A nod to the alchemical metaphor; change of base materials in noble materials.
Fascinated by earth’s minerals and in search of prized examples of geology’s endless variety was the natural starting point for the collection. During an experimental search for fascinating materials, I found these composite material. In fact, an everyday material which was turned into vibrant, beautifully crafted jewellery. Lien’s lasting love of colour is shown throughout the collections with each piece of the composite cast by hand with each colour mixed individually.
