Redefined essence
The circular shapes and taut play of lines in the jewelry by Lien Hereijgers arise as a function of the material. The details are intentionally slightly robust, which creates a certain quirkiness. By retaining only the essence, jewelry brand Lien Hereijgers shows how beautiful uncomplicated simplicity can be.
Composite as a basis
The composite is always made up of two or more constituent materials. The composite jewels by Lien Hereijgers consist of tiny particles of granite or quartz granulates, which are combined with each other through a unique process using synthetic resin. For a colorful effect, the synthetic resin is dyed with color pigments. Jewelry designer Lien Hereijgers makes the composite and color compositions herself. The result is a unique whole of subtle color shades that you will not encounter anywhere else.
The composite jewels from Lien Hereijgers are very similar to natural stones, such as marble, and emanate female strength. Despite their robust look, the jewels are light in weight and comfortable to wear. Perfect if you love a statement ring or a striking pair of earrings.
The composite is always combined with (sterling) silver or rhodinized brass that is plated with a layer of rose gold or gold of three or five microns.

The jewelry brand Lien Hereijgers embraces the importance of sustainability. In addition to quality materials, we consciously use traditional jewelry making techniques and create every piece in our own studio in Deurne, near Antwerp. With an eye for detail, each composite jewel is cut, sanded and polished by hand.
By combining techniques from the traditional goldsmith’s trade with laser cutting and manual plastic casting, we create unique and high-quality jewelry that asks to be treasured.

Jewelry designer Lien Hereijgers enjoys exploring colors and materials. Each piece of jewelry emerges in her mind, takes shape in her sketchbook and is brought to life in the studio, where a small team meticulously crafts the jewelry collections and custom jewels.
Geometric shapes and graphical details from other art forms are often the starting point of a creative process, to which jewelry designer Lien Hereijgers adds her personal touch.
After graduating in Textile Design, Lien Hereijgers exchanged the two-dimensional for the formalistic. Attracted by traditional and rudimentary working methods, she earned a bachelor’s degree in Jewelry Design & Gold and Silversmithing. In the years that followed, her designs grew almost organically into a full-fledged jewelry brand. The tactile aspect, which is central to textile design, is never far away in her jewelry collections and captures the imagination of those who look closely.

Vormelijke essentie
De cirkelvormen en het strakke lijnenspel in de juwelen van Lien Hereijgers ontstaan steeds in functie van het materiaal. Alle details zijn bewust een tikkeltje robuuster, wat de juwelen een zekere eigenzinnigheid geeft. Door enkel de essentie te behouden, toont juwelenmerk Lien Hereijgers hoe mooi ongecompliceerde eenvoud kan zijn.
Composiet als basis
Composiet is steeds een samengesteld materiaal. De composiet juwelen van Lien Hereijgers bestaan uit minuscule deeltjes graniet- of kwartsgranulaten, die via een uniek procédé van kunsthars met elkaar verbonden worden. Voor een kleurrijk effect wordt de kunsthars met kleurpigmenten ingekleurd. Juweelontwerpster Lien Hereijgers maakt zowel de composiet- als kleursamenstelling volledig zelf. Dit levert een uniek geheel aan subtiele kleurschakeringen op, dat je nergens anders zult tegenkomen.
De composiet juwelen van Lien Hereijgers lijken erg op natuurstenen, zoals marmer, en stralen vrouwelijke kracht uit. Ondanks hun robuuste look, voelen de juwelen licht aan en zijn ze fijn om te dragen. Extra leuk als je houdt van een statementring of een indrukwekkend paar oorbellen.
Composiet wordt steeds gecombineerd met (sterling) zilver of gerhodineerd messing met een verguld laagje roségoud of goud van drie of vijf micron dik.
Handgemaakt in België
Duurzaamheid staat centraal bij juwelenmerk Lien Hereijgers. Naast kwaliteitsvolle materialen kiezen we er bewust voor om onze juwelen op ambachtelijke manier te vervaardigen in ons eigen atelier in Deurne, vlakbij Antwerpen. Met oog voor detail wordt elk composiet juweel er met de hand vervaardigd, geschuurd en gepolijst.
Door technieken uit de klassieke edelsmeedkunst te combineren met laserwerk en het handmatig gieten van kunststof, ontstaan unieke en kwaliteitsvolle juwelen die vragen om gekoesterd te worden.

Juweelontwerpster Lien Hereijgers exploreert graag kleuren en materialen. Alle juwelen ontstaan in haar hoofd, krijgen vorm in haar schetsboek en worden tot leven gebracht in het eigen atelier, waar een klein team de juwelencollecties en het maatwerk met zorg uitvoert.
Geometrische vormen en grafische details uit andere kunstvormen zijn vaak het beginpunt van een creatieproces dat juweelontwerpster Lien Hereijgers volledig naar hand zet.
Na haar opleiding Textielontwerp, ruilde Lien Hereijgers het vlakke voor het vormelijke. Aangetrokken door de ambachtelijke en ruwe manier van werken, behaalde ze met glans een Bachelor Juweelontwerp|Edelsmeedkunst. In de jaren die daarop volgden, groeiden haar eigen creaties bijna organisch uit tot een volwaardig juwelenmerk. Het tactiele dat centraal staat bij textielontwerp, is nooit veraf in haar juwelencollecties en spreekt tot de verbeelding voor wie aandachtig kijkt.
